What usually stops you from keeping up on your fitness workouts?
If you are like most people the answer is TIME. We all seem to be short on time.
Between working, going to school, raising families and catching up with friends we don’t seem to have much “me” time anymore.
Trying to squeeze in enough time to drive to the gym, possibly wait for equipment, do our 1 hour workout then drive home is almost an impossibility to achieve 3 or 4 days a week as this can eat up 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Even trying to find an hour to workout with a treadmill or an elliptical in our home may be hard for many of us.
However, we all can find 14 short minutes! Now before you say 14 minutes isn’t enough time to get a good fat burning workout what if I told you that with the Bowflex Max Trainer 14 minutes is all you need to get an effective fat burning cardio workout.
Okay, so how is this possible?
Synergistic interval training
When you work out on a simple piece of equipment like a treadmill or elliptical, you are basically just working out one part of your body. Usually just your lower body. And while with some ellipticals you also move your upper body the motion is slight and without much tension.
With the Max Trainer both your upper and lower body moves at the same time and you don’t just move more of your body the Max Trainer varies speed and resistance giving you an effective interval training experience.
Your machine will give you an intense short burst of a workout followed by a longer more relaxing experience and it will cycle through this again and again during your 14 minute exercise routine and your console will show you where in the cycle you are so you know when you will be ramping up and when you will be
This helps you burn calories and fat while using the machine and it also creates an afterburn where you continue to burn additional calories long after your workout is completed. We’re not talking an hour or two but for many hours.
And with the Max Trainer taking up about half the space that a treadmill would, you can fit it in spaces that are not possible with other equipment.
Probably one of my favorite piece of technology that makes your workout especially geared towards your needs and goals is that over time it automatically learns and adapts to your fitness level and then gradually sets new targets so that your always advancing and becoming more fit. How is that for the future of fitness?
