ProForm Power 995 Treadmill

The ProForm Power 995 treadmill is part of ProForm’s power series.  The Power series combines the power and features that you are looking for in a treadmill along with an affordable price point.                 

The ProForm Power 995 treadmill begins with a commercial motor (2.75 CHP Mach Z commercial plus motor ) which is both spin balanced for a smoother workouts but also the motor is self-cooling which will help to extend its life.  The motor however does have a lifetime warranty so you count on having treadmill workouts year after year.

The Power 995 is iFit Live compatible but you will have to purchase the module separately (it is inexpensive and once you see what you can do with iFit Live you really understand the value that it adds towards your motivation and achieving your weight loss and/or fitness goals. . If you prefer to have iFit Live built right in to your treadmill then you may want to take a look at the Power 1080 Treadmill which is the next step up from the 995.

As mentioned above the Power 995 has iFit Live compatibility and it also is Nike and iPod compatible.
With being Nike and iPod compatible means that you can plug you iPod into your treadmill, do your workout as planned and when you are done you can then sync it with Nikeplus.com and check and follow your progress. At Nikeplus.com there are forums to share successes and tips along with running events and training information.

There are 20 workout apps ( you may be more use to hearing this phrase as workouts and not apps but it’s basically the same thing but fitness equipment companies are now beginning to use the term apps). With having 20 different ones allows you to rotate through your workouts so that and your muscles don’t get use to the same workouts days after day. If you do decide to add the iFit Live module you will be able to download addition workout programs along with workouts with Jillian Michaels.
