The motor is self cooling and with its spin balance it’s one of the smoothest and quietest motors. This 3.0 HP commercial grade motor has a 12 year warranty giving you peace of mind. 
Although the Epic 500 has an on board television what I especially like is that when the television is on your can either turn off your console stats or continue to have your stats show. With many treadmill on board television screens you can either watch the television or see your stats, and many times you can slow your workout down without realizing it. However, by having the choice you can either just workout while watching your tv show and assume that you are continuing to get a good workout or you can watch tv while knowing that your still at your optimum workout level.
